How lumeons Came Together
lumeons grew out of a pattern we kept seeing across data centre builds in the Klang Valley: facilities teams and IT operations leads were making consequential layout decisions — rack positions, airflow corridors, service access paths — without a structured framework to work from. The advisory that existed was either too high-level to be useful or scoped around regulated engineering works that were already handled elsewhere.
We set up to fill that gap. Our focus is the operational layer: the decisions that happen between the architectural drawing and the first rack going in. That is where zoning choices, density assumptions, and access-path planning have the most impact on how a room actually functions day-to-day.
Today, lumeons works with facilities managers and IT operations leads across Malaysia on layout planning reviews, facilitated workshops, and longer-term advisory retainers. Our engagements are deliberately scoped to stay within the operational and planning domain — structured, documented, and straightforward to act on.
