// Advisory Solutions
Three Engagements. One Clear Focus.
Each lumeons engagement is fixed-scope and documented. Choose the one that fits your current project stage — a quick review, a facilitated planning session, or ongoing advisory across a phased build.

How lumeons Advisory Works
Scope Agreement
Every engagement starts with a written scope statement — what is covered, what is not, and what you receive at the end.
Zone Mapping
We classify the room or proposed space into operational zones before any rack positions are discussed — power, cooling, access, and service corridors.
Layout Evaluation
Multiple layout options are evaluated against the operational requirements from zone mapping. Trade-offs are documented rather than assumed.
Documented Output
The engagement ends with a written deliverable — a review document, planning templates, or a session summary — ready to share with your team and stakeholders.
Layout Planning Review
An advisory review of a server-room layout from a non-regulated operational standpoint, focused on zoning, flow, and planning options for AI-dense racks. Aimed at facilities and IT operations leads. Delivers a written review and a planning session.
Key Benefits
- Structured written assessment of your current or proposed layout
- Zone-by-zone review against GPU-density operational requirements
- Comparison of at least two layout options with documented trade-offs
- One planning session to walk through findings and answer questions
Process
- Step 1: Submit existing layout drawings or describe the proposed space
- Step 2: lumeons completes zone mapping and layout assessment
- Step 3: Planning session delivered (remote or on-site)
- Step 4: Written review document issued
Operational Design Workshop
A facilitated workshop that helps operations teams reason about room layout and operational design choices, focused on strategy rather than works requiring licensing. Includes a working session, planning templates, and a summary. Scope: a single workshop.
Key Benefits
- Facilitated full-day working session focused on your team's decisions
- Pre-session diagnostic questionnaire to maximise working time
- Planning templates formatted for contractor briefings and internal reference
- Post-workshop summary document with key decisions and next steps
Process
- Step 1: Pre-session questionnaire completed by your team
- Step 2: Full-day facilitated workshop (remote or on-site)
- Step 3: Planning templates delivered within two working days
- Step 4: Summary document issued with key decisions documented
Design Advisory Retainer
An ongoing advisory retainer supporting operational layout decisions across a build or expansion programme, keeping planning structured and documented. Designed for phased projects. Includes recurring sessions and decision support. Scope: quarterly retained engagement.
Key Benefits
- Two to three advisory sessions per quarter, timed to your build phases
- On-call decision support between scheduled sessions
- Quarterly planning log and decision summary
- Continuity of advisory context across all project phases
Process
- Onboarding: Project briefing and initial zone mapping session
- Each Quarter: Scheduled advisory sessions aligned to build milestones
- Between Sessions: On-call input for layout decisions as they arise
- Quarter End: Planning log and decision summary document issued

// Standards
Applied Across All Engagements
Confidentiality
Client site data and planning documents are handled under a standard NDA framework. Information shared during engagements is not used across other client accounts.
Written Scope First
No work begins without a written scope statement agreed by both parties. This defines deliverables, timelines, and the explicit boundary of advisory versus regulated works.
Non-Regulated Boundary
lumeons's advisory scope is strictly operational and planning-focused. M&E engineering works, structural assessments, and regulated drawings require a separate licensed engagement.
Output Review Cycle
All written outputs go through an internal review before delivery. Clients also receive a short review period to raise clarifications before the document is finalised.
Plain Language Outputs
Advisory documents are written to be shared across IT, facilities, and management stakeholders — not just read by the person who attended the session.
Flexible Delivery
Sessions can be conducted remotely or on-site across the Klang Valley. For retainer clients, a mix of formats across the quarter is typical and can be adjusted as the project progresses.
